MEET CANDACE

Candace Newman, The Oil Lady® is founder of The Good Medicine Tin®,
Oil Lady Aromatherapy®, and Touch With Oils®. She is a speaker, writer and therapist. Candace holds a Masters Degree in Teaching, and her Aromatherapy training and certificates are from Purdue University and leading Aromatherapists in Canada, England, France and Germany. These include: Micheline Arcier, Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, Dr. Dietrich Gumbel, Eve Taylor, and Joy Johnston. Her paper on "Orange Oil" from Purdue was published in the Natural Oils Research Association Newsletter. Candace is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and has received training from the American Holistic Nurses' Association and Hildegard Wittlinger with Vodder Lymphatic Drainage work.

Candace is one of the authors (referred to as "The Women of NAHA") of The World of Aromatherapy, and has contributed many articles to national and international publications. She has produced two educational videos for the public and practitioners: Integrate Aromatherapy Into Your Life With The Good Medicine Tin® and Touch With Oils® Hand Massage. Candace continues to educate with her monthly newsletter. Since 1993, Candace has participated in more than 245 events, including classes, lectures, television, radio, and retreats. She is a member of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), Alliance of International Aromatherapists, International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists, International Federation of Aromatherapists, the Florida State Massage Therapy Association, and the American Massage Therapy Association. Candace is a member of the International Society of Poets. Oil Lady Aromatherapy® is a private collection of The Good Medicine Tin ® Company LLC, owned by Candace and her husband, John. These formulas initially were created by Candace to treat her own health challenges and then for her clients in her private practice. Due to their success and increased demand, these formulas now are available for retail and wholesale. Candace and John continue to make these products by hand with great care and tremendous appreciation.
